The GreenHeart Foundation provided pro-bono technical services to 6 Laotian weaving villages through participatory research, skills training, market linkages, and networking. The GreenHeart Foundation has consulted with the following international agencies:
GreenHeart Foundation works to empower the lives of women and girls in Asia through their traditional art of weaving textiles to promote sustainable livelihoods. We work with communities of weavers, partners, and enablers who shared mutual goals of women's empowerment through preserving, perpetuating and promoting the traditional textile industry as a sustainable enterprise.
Currently, the GreenHeart Foundation works with 2 community partners based in Laos and Bhutan through our GreenHeart Weavers Project, where we provide technical assistance, capacity development programs, and market linkages to help expand the weavers' enterprises.
